Good seeing Paquette get a hatty! And I know Nesterov kinda goofed on that Helm goal, but I feel like he's been really solid. I feel just as confident with a Nesterov - Garrison pair than I would with Carle in. Maybe that's just me?

So was anyone not impressed with bishop?

Did he look uncomfortable during that breakaway ?

Bishop was solid. He had a few adventures playing the puck. D played pretty strong and kept my Red Wings on the perimeter most of the night.

Solid game against a good team. The Wings definitely worked on the triplets esp. Kuch. Good preview of the step up in intensity heading into the playoffs. Hats off to Garrison for stepping up for Bishop.

Bishops glove was a magnet. The chief described it as him playing catch with the red wings!

And those same Redwings fans will be wearing there Bolt Blue in Saturday.
And Tom Jones is a hack of a writer.
When the most popular teams aren't there we still fill the stadium.

Tom Jones is a (frank)ing hack and hated in Tampa. Yes there were a lot of red probably 40% of 19000. But I am fine with all the transplants who live here and only go to the game of their home town, I actually have issues more so with the jersey traitors though and a good number of the red wings fans last night were jersey traitors as they will be back in Blue but not real Bolts fans.

I'll be honest too I use the transplants to my advantage as well. I know lots of Bolts STMs who put their tickets up for sale for the Wings, Hawks, Leafs and Pens because they will pay so much for the tickets. For some reason not so much Montreal, Philly, NY and Boston. I was on a trip when the Pens came to down, I go so much for my 3 tickets that it paid for 25% of the total cost of my season tickets. I am going to miss the Blackhawks game as well and will do the same. So the transplants have their purpose as 1/2 of my season ticket cost will be paid by two games because their fans who live here only going to 1 or 2 games can afford to pay so much for the tickets. I just wish the jersey traitors would really pick a side and quit playing both sides, will never understand it.

Look all the Northern teams don't have the transplant problems because be honest no one wants to live in those poopty (frank)ing places unless they were born there. We in Florida its a different story hell half our population is transplants because it is (frank)ing great living here. Just a fact. Like I said if you are from a different area and want to root for your team I understand but I take issue with say a parent trying to force their team on a kid who was born and raised in Tampa. Let the kid decide and he will probably choose his local team.

How is Detroit doing these days? Still a beacon of low crime, affordable housing and economic prosperity?

I've been to lightning home games when one of those teams comes to town and I hate it. Not because they're there, but because they are rude, abusive, arrogant, aggressive and belligerent. I have had many encounters with all of them and honestly I haven't really found any that are easy to get along with. From yelling at my wife, to flipping the bird to my eight-year-old son, to spilling beer on us it, never ends and quite frankly I don't go to those team games anymore. The hockey fans from those cities are turning into football fans.

I know it's early yet, but the lightning need to take a good, long, hard look at Rasmus Andersson! He looks to have all the makings of a poor mans Victor Hedman.

Arty you've come too far too start slipping now let me handle this

Red wings fan just (frank)ing got blown out 5-1 by a real contendor . If you want to come in here and stir poop up , make sure your hockey team can compete with the bolts . Thanks

We walked over you like ants . Your opinion means nothing to us because your team is of no threat . Just another game out of 82, by no means a measuring stick game .
